Research has revealed that big and small dogs have different nutritional requirements, leading Gain Pet Nutrition to develop two specific food ranges, Gain Big Dogs and Gain Small Dogs.

Gain Big Breed Puppy Food contains L-Carnitine and controlled levels of top quality protein and fat, ideal for slow-growing, large-breed puppies. Formulated for sensitive stomachs Gain Big Breed Puppy food contains soluble fibres plus FOS ensuring excellent digestion and well-formed, easily managed stools.

This large breed, puppy food is scientifically balanced with the optimum Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio which helps improve the condition of your dog’s skin and coat as well as improving brain and vision function. The unique source of real calcium from milk included in this diet with the combination of Vitamin D and Phosphorous means that feeding this puppy food will help towards the development of strong bones and teeth.

The kibble is specially designed to be suited to a large breed dog and the larger nugget size kibble is enriched with extra meat juices making it more palatable for fussy eaters.

If changing your pet’s food, gradually introduce the new food over a period of 7-10 days. Begin by adding roughly 25% new food to 75% previous food and feeding at this ratio for 1-2 days, continue to increase the amount of new food (while decreasing the previous food) every two days until you are feeding only the new diet. This transition period allows your pet’s digestive system to adapt to the new diet and avoid any tummy upset.
