Aqua Nova activated carbon is a high performance filter material that effectively removes residual medicines, chlorine, certain odours and also contaminants which are produced by the metabolism of organic substances.

Aqua Nova activated carbon is packed in a sealed plastic bag to avoid unnecessary mess, and also comes in a Aqua Nova fine black filter bag, this makes it easy to use in any filter.  The net has a zipper so you can adjust the amounts of activated carbon in the net.

Activated carbon should not be used while the Aquarium fish are being treated with any form of medication.
